We pride ourselves on building a product that fulfills the end-user's needs, and we are excited to release several new features and offerings that are the direct result of your feedback.
Super High Resolution is <= 30 cm per pixel. SAR imagery allows you to see through clouds, smoke, or at night with more clarity than ever before. Additionally, we’re proud to be updating our SAR pricing to reflect the same price you’d pay when ordering directly through Umbra.
Very High Resolution is > 50 cm to <= 1 meter per pixel. As our users have mentioned, access to higher resolutions unlocks the potential of EO data even further, and we are excited to now offer Very High Resolution imagery for both New and Existing Images. This is a significant improvement from the previous highest available optical resolution ranging from 51-100 cm. With this higher resolution, users will be able to access clearer and more detailed images, resulting in more data and better insights.
For users who order imagery of the same area over time, it can be quite cumbersome to have to find and recreate your AOI with each order. As such, we’ve now enabled you to save your AOI for easy access. Simply click the floppy disk above your AOI to add it to your “Saved” list, where you can re-order, rename, copy the coordinates to your clipboard, and access images you have purchased with the same AOI.
We are introducing the ability to further customize your order by selecting a specific provider when ordering images. This will come in handy as we integrate more data providers to the SkyFi app. With the newest update, you can choose which provider captures your image. Simply click “More Options” when ordering a New Image to see the list of available providers for your AOI and sensor choice.
These new features are sure to be a game-changer for SkyFi's users. By providing higher resolution imagery, easy access to frequently ordered AOIs, and more provider options, SkyFi is making it easier than ever for its users to access and utilize satellite imagery.
