We’re excited to welcome Evan Achiron as SkyFi’s Head of Marketing and Communications. Evan brings years of experience building brands and B2B marketing strategies in GovTech SaaS, Climate Tech AI, public policy, and government advisory industries.
He joins us from Floodbase, where he positioned the Series-A climate tech startup as the premier flood data provider for global re/insurers like Swiss Re and public sector agencies like FEMA. At SkyFi, he will lead how we communicate our mission of making Earth intelligence more accessible for governments, enterprises, and individuals worldwide.

As demand for geospatial intelligence continues to rise, clear communication is critical. SkyFi is building the world’s Earth intelligence platform, a scalable data platform that gives access to the industry’s leading geospatial imagery and analytics from more than 50 partners.
Evan will lead how we connect this value to users across defense, civil, and commercial sectors, ensuring that Earth intelligence reaches the people who need it most and when they need it.
Evan has built his career around helping enterprises and institutions translate complex technology into strategies that reach the people who depend on them. At Floodbase, he positioned the Series-A climate tech startup as the leading flood data provider for global re/insurers and public agencies.
Before Floodbase, he led marketing at GovPilot, a SaaS digital transformation platform for local governments, where he guided the company’s go-to-market strategy through COVID. Prior to that, Evan served as Director of Marketing and Communications for SBP, a national disaster resilience and recovery nonprofit. He relocated to New Orleans for 18 months to lead the organization’s rebrand, positioning SBP and its leadership as recognized thought leaders in disaster recovery policy, while also helping the organization respond to natural disasters across the U.S.
Earlier in his career, roles in corporate communications at Glover Park Group (now FGS Global) and GLG gave him experience working with Fortune 500 companies, international governments, and global partners.
On joining SkyFi, Evan shared:
“For too long, critical insights from space have been locked away, accessible only to a select few. This has created a blind spot for industries, governments, and innovators, hindering everything from responsible development and investing to community resilience and national security.
I am excited to join SkyFi to empower individuals and organizations to make faster, smarter decisions with on-demand geospatial intelligence tailored to the specific challenges they face on the ground."
SkyFi’s mission is to make satellite imagery and analytics simple to access and act on. With Evan leading marketing and communications, we will continue scaling globally while keeping accessibility and speed at the center of what we do.
