SkyFi Partners with BlackSky to Deliver 35 cm Satellite Tasking, Including Nighttime Collection
Partnership will bring access to BlackSky Gen-2 and Gen-3 daytime, nighttime, and stereo tasking to commercial and government users on the SkyFi platform
AUSTIN, TX September 24, 2026 – SkyFi, the leading Earth Intelligence Platform, today announced a partnership with BlackSky, a real-time space-based intelligence company. The integration will make BlackSky's Gen-3 and Gen-2 satellite tasking available directly in the SkyFi platform. SkyFi will connect to BlackSky Spectra®, giving users on-demand access to high-cadence, very high-resolution optical collection without a minimum purchase commitment.
BlackSky's Gen-3 constellation delivers 35 cm native resolution at nadir. Gen-2 captures 85 cm-class imagery. Both will be available to SkyFi users for point tasking with day and night collection windows.

Rapid Collection and Delivery: BlackSky's constellation supports multiple revisits per day at many latitudes, with average collect-to-delivery latency of 90 minutes or less. Orders that fail cloud cover or quality thresholds will be automatically retasked within the original collection window.
Nighttime Collection: BlackSky is one of the few commercial providers offering nighttime optical tasking. SkyFi users will be able to order nighttime collections alongside daytime and stereo products, extending monitoring coverage for ports, airfields, energy infrastructure, and activity-based intelligence.
Access Without Minimums: SkyFi users will access BlackSky collections per scene through the SkyFi web platform, MCP, or API. Enterprise users with a SkyFi Pro account will be able to integrate BlackSky tasking into existing workflows, set revisit cadence against saved Areas of Interest, and manage user access and budgets.
High-Resolution Tasking Across Sectors
BlackSky Gen-3 and Gen-2 dynamic monitoring supports use cases across defense, disaster response, infrastructure monitoring, energy, insurance, and supply chain. The 35 cm Gen-3 product is suited to object-level detection and classification. Nighttime collection extends monitoring into hours that optical imagery has traditionally left uncovered. Stereo products support terrain and structure analysis.
The partnership continues SkyFi's expansion of its provider network, which includes more than 300 satellite and analytics sources.
Once integrated, individual SkyFi users and enterprise account registrants will have access to BlackSky tasking at app.skyfi.com.
