Lead Solutions Architect, Government

Kevin Philpott is the Lead Solutions Architect for Government at SkyFi, where he leads customer experience initiatives across SkyFi’s national security portfolio and applies his expertise in geospatial intelligence to support software solutions that drive fast and accurate decision making in mission-critical situations.

Prior to SkyFi Kevin served as a civilian employee of the U.S. Department of Defense, primarily at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in a variety of roles and mission areas spanning GEOINT analysis, Intelligence Community partner success, and geospatial product management, where he developed a passion for improving operational and policy outcomes through the automation and AI-enhancement of geospatial workflows. Kevin also served 8+ years as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Army Reserve at USINDOPACOM and USEUCOM, amongst other assignments.

Education

Kevin holds a MA in Security Policy from George Washington University’s Elliot School of International Affairs and a BS in Accounting from Villanova University School of Business.
